The first Friday Nasiha was sent out on February 19th 1999 to approximately 300 people.

Nasiha, or counsel, as it can be translated to was originally a means of communicating Islam to the growing number of Canadian youth. It was, by God’s will, to convey the message and practices relating to them.

The Nasiha was received well by both youth and adults, near and far. The number of subscribers grew continually. Since that first message in 1999, the number of subscribers has grown to over sixty five thousand people world wide.
